Submission Guidelines

Every hackathon and challenge submission should include a working demo or repository link, a short write-up of the problem and approach, and a 2–3 minute walkthrough video. Late submissions are not scored unless the listing states otherwise.

Code of Conduct

InnoSmart events are welcoming spaces for builders of all backgrounds. Harassment, plagiarism, and misrepresenting your team's work will result in disqualification and account review.

Team Formation

Most hackathons allow teams of 2–4. Solo participation is welcome unless a listing specifically requires teams — check each listing's details panel.

Judging Criteria

Listings are typically judged on innovation, technical execution, real-world impact, and presentation quality. Exact weighting is set per event.

Is InnoSmart free to join?

Yes — creating a builder or organization account is completely free.

Can I apply to public hackathons through InnoSmart?

For public listings, the Apply button takes you to the organizing site directly; we simply help you discover it.

How do organizations list a hackathon or challenge?

Visit the For Organizations page and submit a partnership request — our team will set up your listing.

Do I need to be a developer to join?

Not at all. Designers, product thinkers and domain experts are welcome across most listings.
